How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your Popin account directly from within the mobile app:
Open the Popin app
Launch the Popin mobile application on your device
Go to Profile Settings
Navigate to Profile → Settings
Find Delete Account
Scroll down and select "Delete Account"
Confirm your request
Follow the confirmation prompts to finalize deletion
What Happens to Your Data?
When you delete your account, we will permanently remove or anonymize your personal data, including:
- ✕Your name, email, phone number, and profile information
- ✕Your sessions and authentication data
- ✕Your location history
- ✕Your chat messages and event participation details (anonymized)
Data Retention
We may retain limited non-identifiable information (like aggregated event statistics) for internal reporting and security purposes for up to 30 days after deletion.
Important Notice
• This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
• You will lose access to all your events, messages, and saved preferences.
• If you're an event organizer, your hosted events will be archived but inaccessible.
• Any pending transactions or bookings will be cancelled.
